Senior Consultant, Enterprise & Solution Architecture

Core Responsibilities

In our core responsibilities, we serve as the bridge between business strategy and technological excellence. If you’re familiar with one or more of the following core responsibilities, please reach out to us:

• Strategic Roadmaps: You design and develop the enterprise architecture roadmap across the entire manufacturing value chain in collaboration with the client. In doing so, you also evaluate trends such as Industry 4.0 or Digital Twins and assess their relevance from an architectural perspective.

• End-to-End Solution Design: You develop the solution design for specific business solutions with a focus on interfaces, data, andIntegration process integration. Using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), you map business domains, define microservices, and ensure that individual solutions are optimally integrated into the existing landscape. 

• Integration Design for Standard Solutions: You design integration scenariosfür  for the modernization or implementation ,  standard business solutions such as ERP or, CRM, incorporating the necessary middleware. 

• Procurement Support: You actively support the selection of new solutions (make vs. buy) and conduct architecture assessments.

• Architecture Governance: You will work with the client to define guidelines for architecture governance, establish architecture principles and standards, and support the implementation of appropriate operating models in the architecture domain

Your profile combines deep industry knowledge with methodological strength: 

• Consulting experience: You bring solid experience in IT consulting or in leading complex architecture projects in an industrial setting.

• Analytical Talent: You have the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into clear, actionable goals. You can explain technically complex topics in a way that makes sense to business stakeholders and inspire others with your vision.

• Process expertise: You understand the core processes in manufacturing (R&D, production, supply chain, sales & service) from a consulting perspective.

• ERP & CRM Excellence: You possess in-depth architectural knowledge of leading systems such as ERP and CRM/CX (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).

• Manufacturing IT: You are familiar with the integration and implementation of PLM, CAD, or MES solutions in a shop floor environment.

• Technology and Cloud Stack: You are well-versed in integration concepts, API management, and modern software architectures (microservices, cloud-native). Additionally, you have in-depth knowledge of the Azure or AWS cloud ecosystems and modern infrastructure concepts.

• Architecture Methodology: You are comfortable working with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and notations such as UML or Archimate.

Highly Desirable

The extra edge that makes you a champion with us:

• Certifications: You are a certified architect (e.g., TOGAF, CPSA/iSAQB) or hold relevant cloud badges (Azure/AWS Architect)

• Industry Standards: You are familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts and standards and know how to apply them in practice.

• Data & AI Expertise: You also have experience in designing industrial data platforms or integrating AI use cases.

• Security Architecture: You have experience with secure architectures (Zero Trust, Identity Management, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001).

• Agile Work Methods: You are experienced in working with Scrum or SAFe and can effectively apply these methods at client sites.

You will be working in an international environment, and English is essential; Spanish is also desirable.
