Role Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Operations Advisor plays a central role in delivering high‑quality, compliant, and efficient Talent Acquisition services for North America, operating from GBS Americas in Bogota. This position partners closely with Senior Recruiters in North America, who manage interviews, hiring‑manager engagement, intake discussions, and overall process performance. Your responsibility is to ensure that every step leading up to that point -sourcing support, candidate pipeline quality, offer preparation, compliance checks, and pre‑employment accuracy- is executed with precision and consistency. Acting as the recruitment process specialist within GBS, you will maintain the integrity of the offer and pre‑employment workflows, safeguard legal and contractual compliance, and serve as the keeper of standardized operating procedures for the region. This role is critical in guaranteeing a seamless handoff between GBS and North America, ensuring both candidate and hiring‑manager experience meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence
The Advisor supports Senior Recruiters in North America by conducting market research, competitor mapping, and sourcing channel analysis across these markets. You help strengthen the top of the funnel by ensuring candidate pipelines are relevant, diverse, and aligned with role requirements before they reach the interview stage. Your insights enable Recruiters to engage hiring managers with up‑to‑date talent and salary intelligence.
Offer Management & Compliance Ownership
You manage the end‑to‑end offer process, ensuring all documentation meets EEO and OFCCP requirements, state‑specific labor regulations in the U.S., and Canadian provincial legislation. Acting as the final control point for offer accuracy and compliance, you ensure zero‑defect execution and maintain audit‑ready documentation. You are responsible for the quality, accuracy, and governance of all offer‑related data flowing into SmartRecruiters and HR systems.
Support to Senior Recruiters & Hiring Managers
While Senior Recruiters in North America lead all interviews, stakeholder interactions, and process performance discussions, you collaborate with them by joining Intake Meetings when appropriate, providing market intelligence, validating job requirements, and reviewing requisition data quality. Over time, you will develop expertise in specific SGS Business Lines, strengthening your capability to support Recruiters with domain‑specific insights.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
You monitor operational SLAs such as time‑to‑approve, time‑to‑offer, and DocuSign turnaround. You identify bottlenecks, propose process improvements, and contribute to the standardization of TA and pre‑employment practices across North America. You help drive automation opportunities, optimize templates, and refine hiring workflows across all supported business units.
Cross‑Regional Collaboration
As part of GBS Americas, you collaborate daily with Senior Recruiters in North America, HR Operations, Legal, and Payroll teams.
